If a good degreasing bath is done on a regular basis, every 4-6 weeks on average, and the coat is thoroughly blown out with a high velocity dryer, matting becomes a thing of the past. Left ungroomed, even shorthaired cats can develop mats and tangles that can tighten and pull uncomfortably on the skin, causing soreness and bruising.

Comb Cut . . .$130. . . (This haircut is not available on coats with clumps or tangles) This is a good option if you don’t want your cat shaved to the skin but need the hair to be shorter and easier to maintain. Leaves approximately 1/4-3/4 of an inch of hair. Tail can be left full or trimmed in a pom pom style.
